Pros
For me it solves a little problem in my studio, very well, and for very little money. Save yourself a few quid and buy this instead of the um1. The flashing lights are a gentle reassurance that all is working as it should do.
The fore cable is sturdy and has handy visual light displays to confirm connection and midi signals. There is a good photo on the instructions card that shows very clearly how to connect the midi cable to your piano keyboard.
Using max/msp on a mac running on osx10. Works well no driver required with macos. I was sceptical would work through the cable.

I wasnt sure what to do here and looking at the keyboard manual page 40 i couldnt understand what if anything i needed to change so i didnt make any changes

The red light came on one the midi cables were connected to the pc but my piano marvel app didnt recognise the keyboard
