Pros
Replaced tailgate latch on my ranger. Plastic handle fits nicer in the hand and has a solid but smother flexing feel to it.
Cons
The only metal on this is the bolts and plate that the bolts go into.

As it turns out when the mechanism is lubricated well the tailgate will open with almost no effort
