I sprayed the top of the boots inside and out and tightly packed them with various solid items in my case two shoe stretchers per boot turned so the toe parts faced each other and i forced wooden spoons down the sides to ensure the boot tops were being stretched left them for 48 hours then packed the offending side seam with more spoons re sprayed and left for another 48 hours and they now no longer rub  Read Less
