This book gives a good idea about how to use monte carlo generator. It teaches you how to distinguish between success from right method. Nicely explained about the randomness.
Taleb, a stock trader himself, has a quirky writing style. He gives very wise and highly applied insights into behavioural economics, stoicism and great many other ideologies.
Cons
The human mind is poor at understanding probabilistic thinking. A 20% chance of making 1 crore is not the same as a 10% chances of making 2 crores. Monte carlo techniques are the only option when the equations to model things are too complex.
