Ive used it to check cooler temperatures hot cooked items and i even use it to check the temperature of the hot oil in our fryers which are around 350f

Obviously overcooked food still showed a low temperature

Works well easy to use very light weight but did not get a temp chart nor are temps on the thermometer itself
