Pros & Cons
Pros
If you're a tomato lover, these are definitely worth trying. They're great added to pasta sautéed in olive oil and garlic. After the soaking process they are ready for use.
There are small pockets of salty sections, but they are delicious, not overpowering. Not too soft, not too chewy. They are high-quality and not too salty.
Cons
The sun dried tomatoes in our package are black. Even tasted burnt. These are not packaged in oil and thus taste like jerky. They are so salty they are inedible.
The picture of the item is deceiving because there are no red pieces. The bag itself is mangled and doesn't look like it came from a grocery store shelf. Absolutely awful and inedible.

For this reason you should not think of them as instant but rather preserved and needing some treatment before adding them to recipes
