I actually had a similar one kensington universal windshieldvent car mount ive had for a couple years but i broke it fixed it and then it just didnt seem to hold up well after that

The kensington was not set up well for that so it made it a little wonky to hold my phone in place if i had both cords plugged in

The foamish pads on the sides are thick and allows you to slip the phone in from the top without squeezing the ratcheting sides tightly against the phone and having to push the unlock on the back which makes it fast to take the phone in and out of the mount
