I am so glad i chose this cover for my new kindle fire 8 absolutely perfect fit and the build quality is great
So in summary quality of case itself is excellent but it lacks a very convenient feature
Im please to say that this one is affordable and good quality
I have informed the manufacturers and hopefully theyll update this accordingly
Competitiveness
Only thing missing is grip as slides out of hubbys hands when reading in bed otherwise good value

Other than the official fire hd 8 10th edition2020 cases there werent that many 3rd party options available

Although there is a magnetic strip on the long edge it is in the wrong place to trigger the automatic onoff that we have taken for granted with these type of cases

In the new fire hd 8 the magnetic trigger has moved to the short edge where the power and volume buttons lie
