Pros

Good quality hinge bracket. The edges are sharp and i fileted my finger.

They feel relatively heavy and are not flimsy. They hold it up just fine and run smooth. These are so sturdy.

Being able to fold down a shelf or work surface conserves space & the brackets themselves are very well made. It folds easily by disengaging two levers on the angled braces. Even though that means you have to crawl underneath the tabletop.

Stainless steel and strong enough to do the job and still hold up in outside conditions. Sturdy, stainless, and they operate well. Rust proof. Very sturdy, and easy to install.

Cons

Amazing how such a simple piece of hardware can be made incorrectly. One opens up to 90-degrees, but the other bracket if defective and opens about 95 degrees. The levers/springs prevent the board/shelf from laying evenly on the wall.

These are so flimsy i am worried about anything more than 10 pounds being put on them. Manufacturer says this product supports a max load of 550 lbs. Just admit your stuff is made for lightweight shelves.
