Pros & Cons
Pros
Being able to fold down a shelf or work surface conserves space & the brackets themselves are very well made. It folds easily by disengaging two levers on the angled braces. Sturdy, stainless, and they operate well.
Care must be taken to measure all locations to insure proper alignment. A wonderful little invention. Leasy to mount. Used door shims to make mounting level.
Overall very pleased with the finished results. The edges are sharp and i fileted my finger.
Cons
One bracket opens up to 90-degrees, but the other bracket if defective and opens about 95 degrees. It's hard to get both latched, maybe only one will latch. Don’t follow the installation instructions mount bracket to wall first.
Highlights
Quality
Bought several of these they very sturdy can handle the weight and built to last
Liked how solid they are they are built to last being stainless steel
The process is to dull the edges not visibly just a process
There is absolutely no way these shelf brackets can hold 550 lbs
