I ended up just taking them out completely and only using the 2 screws on the left side which are both surrounded by the enclosure completely and do not stick out

Last issue is that there is no cover plate so my laptop kind of looks bad

Caddy doesnt feel very sturdy but works wonderfully

If you have the same problem i did you will need to remove the metal on the top of the caddy

What you need to do is remove the stickers from the top so you can unscrew 2 or 3 screws under there and the 2 in the back
