Pros & Cons
Pros
The heater is powerful enough to maintain a temperature of 78° in my column tank! The beta fish seems happier and it's working much better than the old 10 watt always on heater i had.
This heater is perfect for my 5 gallon nano tank. The design is inconspicuous and slim with very strong suction cups.
Cons
This heater is constantly on in my 5 gallon low flow tank. Which stinks as this is supposed to be for a nano reef tank. Luckily only snails are in the tank at the moment or it could be deadly.
I'm done with its lack of consistancy. It's disgraceful how horribly made they are.
Highlights
Quality
5 deg depending on my house temp cycling with the pellet stove
Very pleased and i hope my review helps others
Although fluval sells these with the betta premium which like the ebi 2
Packaging/appearance
As soon as the water reaches 76 the inkbird turns the heater off
Competitiveness
To keep my p10s from running constantly in winter i have them paired with inkbird temperature controllers set at 76 degrees
Every tank that has a heater must have an inkbird too
Very disappointed i run fluval products on all my tanks
You must safeguard against this by also buying an inkbird
