Pros

These are excellent heat lamps with a nice ceramic socket head. The metal flare housing is wide enough to accept some larger heating elements. They are much more well-made than the flimsy generic polished aluminum ones.

Great size for my 5ft python. Works well with a simple mechanical timer. Its nice quality and the cord is long. Nice and compact.

Cons

Burned out after only 26 days after plugging it in. The clamp is too weak to sustain the weight of the lamp. And lastly, the switch isn't even turned on and off every day.

Almost killed the turtle and myself from getting electrocuted. They are extremely prone to hibernation if under 72 degrees. The bulb and inside were burnt.

There needs to be more images of the product unpacked to avoid this problem for others in the future. It's just not worth the hassle to return this item. Don’t waste your money. Skip this one.
