Pros

No more phantom flushes. No more leak. Fit perfect, stopped the leak and periodic flushing.

Took 5 seconds to replace- worked just fine. Be careful, but forceful when removing the old valve seat disk. Take care not to bend it off the pin** it's attached to. Easy to install.

Year old toilet is highly effective in evacuating that mess. Works perfectly on my two american standard toilets. Great replacement part for american standard 4049.

Cons

The little adapter is too short. The disk not sitting flush (parallel) with the seat. Buy one that's specifically made for the screw on actuator.
