Pros
Good alternative to the chimney pillow. Not the flueblockers fault. Good idea to plug fireplace vent with wool.
Product works nicely, and has helped. Product was damaged in shipping and seller responded immediately.
I live in illinois and it gets cold. It looks so much nicer than a sofa cushion shoved in my fireplace opening. They say this device will pay for itself in heating/cooling costs in just one year.
Cons
Did not block any more air than the damper alone. Edges are very floppy and do not hold round. Flimsy and had to be cut down to fit an 8” flue.
