Pros & Cons
Pros
It came well packaged, it's easy to install and i'm very, very happy. I like the fact it has few frills to break down. My only two gripes are:1. It works but feels loose.
The ortofon om10 cart is a vast sound quality improvement with it's elliptical shape. I'm an experienced listener and tech savvy adult who has been around music so i know quality from *.
The lp60xbt is head and shoulders above other turntables. Even the base has some weight and feels sturdy, nothing about it feels fragile at all. Balancing the tonearm was a snap. The tone arm and plate are very solid.
The isolation feet make it easy to have turntable and speakers on same surface with no fear of cranking up the volume. Everything about this turntable speaks of qualify and craftsmanship.

Competitiveness
The ortofon om10 sound great and looks really cool compared to your run of the mill boxy cartridge
I bought this turntable after watching a number of reviews on youtube asserting that the fluance rt82 is the best bangforbuck e... Read More
If you want to spend 200 more for a better cartridge and acrylic platter go for the rt85
If you have the clams you might just buy the rt85 with the ortofon 2m blue cartridge or the nagaoka mp110
