Pros
Micro fractures aren't that big of a deal and don't pose problems to the overall functionality. My chair glides very smoothly and no dents. Very study and has not dented or cracked.
It's worth every penny. This is the second update to this product.
Polycarbonate mat is great, so much better than vinyl. Very well made and holds up wonderfully.
The one pitfall is it does tend to shift around and you have to reposition it every couple of days. As the days go on the mat seems to be settling in place and the lifting is becoming more seldom.
The product was rolled into about an 18' by 48' roll, banded and placed within a cardboard box. Chair rolls perfectly over the mat with no sliding or slipping. As others have said, this mat arrives rolled up and secured with strapping.
Cons
It was advertised for carpets over 1/2 thick. It slides on the carpet because the teeth on the underside a excessively short. Other chair mats for carpet have longer nubs that keep the mat in place.

The versions that i bought at office supply stores including those advertised for thick carpets were prone to either indentations making it hard to roll smoothly or cracking

It arrives rolled up with plastic tape and will spring open with a lot of force when unrolling

Be careful openingthe second the tape is cut from the roll it pops open instantly

Be extra careful when cutting the strip thats keeping it rolled up because the mat does pop open quickly

The edges of the mat are rough from being cut to specified dimensions i feel like they could have sanded the edges down into a slope to make it smoother
