Pros
Mat seems sturdy and expect it to last a few years. It's crystal clear and very sturdy. It is a little lighter weight than my old one.
This is actually more elegant looking than the other mats i tried and returned (including the wood-grained, slatted one, which clashed with everything) those are the two must haves. Just be careful opening them, they are under a lot of tension.
Cleartex ultimat polycarbonate chair mat for low/medium pile carpets. It grips the carpet very well. The darkened area is compatible with the darker border of the carpet design.

My weight is 197 and chair is lightweight, so use your own judgement.

The mat lasts me about 3 years before it shows pressure fractures in the material where the roller feet of the office desk chair are usually located
