It doesnt look like something really expensive so you can use it comfortably in places where safety could be an issuecons it should probably include a function to record videos or time laps pictures you cannot adjust the scale manually in detail on the camera you can however do it once you load the pictures into flirs software the resolution could be higher i was under the impression the ir camera would give both the regular photo and the ir photo
