I slip the phone in after removing the case flip the belt so the side with openings is facing me and then unless i think ill need to retrieve it while running swivel the flipbelt around so the phone is nestled in the small of my back

Its not waterproof and the belt will get damp but it doesnt ruin my phone because it has casing on
