It's super sturdy (tried tearing some scraps with my bare hands to no avail), but also very stiff. Durable but soft. She uses on the carpeting rather than the board.

Great product for crafting. Sewing or gluing. A bit pricey compared to buying from an art supply store.

I love the assortment of colors these come in! Great value and still is thick. It is far more durable and the colors are brighter than i expected.
