I knew that rubber hoses are superior as you always see them used in the garden centers and by professionals but they typically use the heavy red rubber hoses

I tried the highest rated vinyl hose which apparently is no longer made and it was a good hose for vinyl but did not hold a candle to this one

The surface is shiny and thinner compared to the old one
