Not hard to install but not easy either through no fault of the product though
I was impressed with the construction of it and the way it mounted very easily to the ceiling of my garage
The quality of these racks is very good and therefore based on the feedback from the company i am updating to 4 starts
Can’t say “easy to install” just because of the type of product

This makes a relatively heavy package for shipping
Great communication from the company after my shipping box arrived completely untaped and wide open
Packaging/appearance
Hardest thing is to make sure you get the screws into the studs so it doesn’t come crashing down

I recommend this model even though you can find a cheaper brand
Store all your stuff in seethrough plastic containers otherwise you will never find things up there

Assembly was difficult because the threaded holes were poorly tapped cut or had paint contamination

Meaning the threads were not cut correctly and it was difficult to screw it together

The only issue was with the foot when it was installed too close to the wall had to screw the screw in from inside from the opposite direction to get it installed

Also when trying to install into a corner you should first check if you have studs right along the wall as it depends on how your studs run and your drywall was installed

Instructions especially diagrams are horrible

I found you cannot mount the ceiling support brackets flush against a wall since the bolts will not be able to be inserted
