Pros & Cons

Pros

I hope this will help some people who might be as clueless as i was! Delivered within 4 days of order. I'm happy amazon carries this product as i could not find this item in any hardware stores.

The magnet feels like it strong and keeps our shower door closed. Magnet is sturdy and worked very well for my kohler shower door that was discontinued.

Fits exactly for sterling 2200a neoangle shower door. My one complaint is the 84s is longer than the door but not enough to fill both the door and the casing.

Cons

These magnets have little to no magnetism. Putting honey on 2 thin pieces of plywood then * them to the hinges would hold stronger but not practical.

There are no instructions for installation. Sent it back for a refund and paid a 50% restocking fee.

Packaging/appearance

Was able to replace a strip that no longer had a magnetic connection

Turns out it was the shower doors magnet had rusted and we were smelling the rust

This should be included somewhere on the packaging

Competitiveness

I pulled the strip slightly down and put a dab of e6000 glue on the back of the bottom of the strip and then slid it back into place

I used a nail head and a plier wrapped in cloth to crimp the magnetic insert near the top of shower door to hold strip in place
