First set from flexcut with something inside box to keep tools from moving around. Made from great tool steel and hold their edge as long as, or even a little longer than some big name tool makers. Keep sharp with a stropping kit.

The mallet chisels are a good addition for my carvings they help to add detail. The flexcut delivers a better finish while still taking moderate material off at the same time. Awesome for relief carving.

These are very high quality and a pleasure to use. They are super sharp when you get them and they send you a little thing of bandaids.

The steel is of good stock, the shapes correct and handles stout. Securely packaged, sharp as can be, well balanced and comfortable.

Worked on some seasoned black walnut, seasoned mulberry, and some green sugar maple with relative ease. Bought these to carve cottonwood bark.
