Pros
It's still very pretty, and finished nicely, but not exactly what i had expected. A pleasure to use every time.
The wood quality and finish are gorgeous. The mohogeny wood is beautiful. Very sturdy and elegant design. Sleek and functional.
Peugeot pepper grinder has metal grinders rather than ceramic or plastic. It can grind teaspoons of pepper in the kitchen. Best grinder out there.
Cons
The salt mill seems to work fin, but the pepper mill however has given me trouble since the beginning. The vic firth mills have much richer, darker stain, obviously from several layers of stain. Shame on fletcher's mill. Twice in a row i have received... Read More

I’ve always wanted s p grinders and was not disappointed with fletchers
Bought this to go with the fantastic pepper mill purchased last year the best pepper mill weve ever used
I have an older pepper mill from the same company and i am not 100 convinced that the quality is still the same
Would be great if it came with the neat little funnel that came with my original vic firth

I like a medium grind most of the time not huge chunks of pepper but definitely not a fine powder

I wouldnt want to change the grind setting regularly as pepper gets stuck in the base making it slightly difficult to adjust the setting without taking the top off

Not a big deal for me but if you use this on the dinner table i use it for cooking it wont be easy for people to change the grind setting to meet their expectations

Youd better like a pretty fine grind though unlike the older model it doesnt seem to do cracked pepper no matter how loosely the grind selection nut is set

It doesnt seem to have quite the same huge volume per grind as my 30 years older model sold as banton
