Pros
Red laces are just a tad shorter than the laces that came with the kenetrek womens mountain extreme insulated hiking boots. These are cotton, what a relief! Even high quality boots now come with round laces as stock, oem.
Cons
By estimating from the photo i was expecting ¼”. The amount of elasticity is so minimal that it is effectively unnoticeable.

White laces have a blue tint to them but that goes away after washing them with bleach
