Pros

Jetboil boils water almost instantly and is a lifesaver when backpacking. It heats up 1/2 liter of water in about 2 minutes. Add it to a dehydrated meal in its ziploc, and spend the next 10 - 15 minutes setting up camp while my dinner cooks.

One of my favorite backpacking products. Easy to assemble with a sturdy three-legged base. Some good accessories to add to your cart are the coleman bagged essentials bottles for cooking oil and dish soap, and a foldable aluminum windscreen.

Cons

After about 20 uses the silicone cover warped. The heat exchanger fins on the bottom are fragile and easily bends. Worked fantastically about 10 times.

Marketing ploy with nice colors to attract glampers. No luck. This product is junk.

The only caveat is to make sure that you pick a fuel canister with the correct mixture for the expected temperatures

If its too cold then you can have problems with the standard fuel but we are talking very cold

My buddy didnt have the jetboil and had a very difficult time getting his to light

Everything is self contained and the handle loop makes it perfect to hang with a carbiner when not in use
