It holds my 370 lb grandson who broke 3 of my dining room chairs. My boyfriend is 435 lbs & i'm 545 lbs. Two of my grandkids are over 6 feet and well over 350 lbs of which one is a defensive tackle on his hs football team.

The cushions are very comfortable, and he loves them so much, we're contemplating buying more. It also makes me sit with perfect posture. Others have commented on the padding; i find it adequate,but i don't spend a lot of time in the chair.

Obvi are supposed to be made for bigger people. As one reviewer said, this is just a larger version of another chair. Although i am not 500 lbs, i like a wide, comfy seat--this is not it.

This seller says they offer returns but the return label will not be accepted by usps. The only reason i am not sending back is that it is too much of a hassle. As far as i'm concerned it is falsely advertised.

When the back rips off, it exposes sharp shards of the welding metal and you could easily cut yourself as you are falling to the ground. The corners stab me in my thighs. It really hurts like poking with something sharp.

Returning the chair was a thick fiasco. The chair is very sturdy but the chair back slants to far to the rear to make it useless.
