What kovac does in not so fast is offer a corrective to lewis's sensationalism, by patiently stating the facts and demonstrating how those facts undermine lewis's bold claim that the american stock market is rigged.

It does make you wonder when michael lewis said that the market is full of fake orders, but then details how katsuyama wrote thor which was able to get 100% fill rates.

Lewis ignored obvious explanations (changes in supply and demand affect prices) in favor of far fetched front running allegations (while demonstrating that far fetched nature of such conclusions).

Peter kodak does an excellent work describing the collection of mistakes and / or wrong assumptions made in flash boys.

Lewis has a flowing style and he endows his characters (who, i guess, are real people) with larger-than-life personalities that really make them pop off the page.
