    Kovac's counterpoint is a useful reality check, allowing the reader to step back and recognize which of lewis' statements are factual, which are conjecture and which are simply inaccurate.

    What kovac does in not so fast is offer a corrective to lewis's sensationalism, by patiently stating the facts and demonstrating how those facts undermine lewis's bold claim that the american stock market is rigged.

    I was in hft briefly, in the infrastructure end of things, and much of lewis' book rang false.
