When i pulled the strap away it yanked a bunch of cotton away as well as ripped out some of the stitchingso the whoever designed this wasnt thinking about long term durability
The brace is comfortable and yet keeps my hand locked in position
Ive bought many braces due to carpal tunnel and arthritis but this is by the far the most comfortable and supportive brace ive owned
It seems to be helping but ill have to give it more time
