Pros & Cons
Pros
It repels water and still breathes. Put this in a pair of tri-spec expedition pants.
It works nicely, goes on well, and really the process is pretty straight forward. It's still nice to have some repelling action though. Just sayin', amazon.
The product itself is good, the shipper send it without any delays and i only have one teenie gripe and that is the description which lists this as a 100 gram. I've had numerous compliments about it, so i use it when hiking or just out and about. Fran... Read More
Rub the bar on the garment and use a hair dryer to melt it in. It only takes seconds and does not discolor the garment. In my case it is very noticeable but i had dyed the canvas before hand.

Made my vidda pro pants water proof and wind proof
The wax melts and absorbs into the fabric deepening the color and giving it a unique texture
Price
Used this to make my canvas winter coat water repellent decent price and there’s enough to do numerous applications
Love it and better value than a filson or heavy weight carhartt
You can get it at the store for a few dollars less
I used a heat gun that i got for like 10 at harbor freight
Shipping
This year the rains came late and i hadnt done my usual yearly routine of water proofing my gear like i shouldve
Packaging/appearance
I find the stiffer fabric on a haversack makes packing and finding gear easier
Competitiveness
Frankly i prefer this over barbour for the end result even though it is harder to apply
The finish is more dull than barbour wax but seems tougher
