Tried mounting it with double sided sticky tape but it did not stay so i do recommend using screws

Mine did not come with screws but it didnt say they were included so im not marking off for that

The first time it was attached it attached so hard to the surface so hard that it knocked some of the black paint off of the metal

That is okay though as a sharpie marker covered that up just fine

It was underneath on the back side of the magnet anyway so it really wasnt a big deal for us
