Pros

The watch syncs to your phone with the fitbit app. If you want a gps watch for runs or bike rides that has a really nice app, wireless sync, and integrates with strava, this watch is a good choice. I personally love this watch i got it for christmas i...  Read More

My only complaint is that the last update seemed to shorten the battery lifespan by a day. Unfortunately, they have been discontinued by garmin.

Comes with all the features of the cheaper fitbits. Fitbit app is very user friendly compared to the other company's app. The fitbit owner's manual is right on the app.

Cons

I'm * without until a better competitor shows up. Fitbit knows it is a manufacturer's defect but they wouldn't do anything about it.

The surge is old technology that is no longer receiving any updates. My fiancé cheaper alta hr which is significantly cheaper has rem and more detailed sleep log. Setting it up is impossible with iphone or pc.

The watch starts buzzing every few seconds. These are disposable watches for sure. The wrist band contains the bluetooth antenna, so once it breaks, its difficult to replace, and renders the device inoperable.

Not athlete-friendly. Was never taken in the shower nor swimming, only perspiration from running. The devices i’ve owned are also adverse to water and sweat intrusion.
