    I’m sure this has been covered in other reviews, but this generation of fitbit is very basic (you might even do better with one of the knockoff activity trackers that infiltrate any search for fitbits on amazon).

    The unit itself seemed to work properly during all those three years, until it finally quit holding a charge and its ability to transmit via bluetooth went kaput.

    Also, the charging contacts on the little bean had to be cleaned off with a dab of water and the tip of a paperclip just about every time i charged the unit, or it wouldn't make an electrical connection.

    I suspect a lot of people who thought their flexs died simply didn't realize it was the charger/connection, not the flex itself, that wasn't working.

    The soft plastic wristband also had to be replaced every six months or so.

    I'd buy another, but i suspect that in the way of all things digital it will soon be phased out.
