Pros & Cons
Pros
The blades are thick and sturdy. The blades slice through paper and fabric like a dream. I still have the original scissor sharpening tool that came with my first pair.
Cons
I have slim, medium hands (size medium gloves always) and these new scissors are just too small. They have a cheap pivot (very tiny) that easily breaks. They are only good for tossing in the kitchen junk drawer for the times when we might need a pair ... Read More
The blades appear warped. The handles * the wrong way. The rust gets all over the sink.
Highlights
Quality
Fiskars have always been a quality product
Fiskar seems to be a product that has not decreased in quality as many other fine brands have since covid
These left handed scissors cut cleanly are typical fiskar quality
Price
They were a decent price well worth it
This is a good product for the price
They are not that much more price wise but so much better quality
Shipping
Just loose in a plastic bag for shipping so they were torn from the cardboard backing
I was using a similar scissor for opening plastic shipping bagsenvelopes and i guess they were better at fabric
Packaging/appearance
However amazon lost the first pair i shipped and they replaced it when i called but the second pair came in just a plastic mail... Read More
Very comfortable but packaging clearly warns that cutting things other than fabric will damage the cutting edge
Competitiveness
Its simply a good product comfortable dependable easy to use a trusted brand
Works just like my usa manufactured pair from the 1970s
I’m a left handed girl in a right handed world
