Taking off 1 star because for the second time now the shears broke after less than a year

Using them infrequently and have always stored them with the plastic cover over the blade but when i went to trim the remainder of my flowers before winter this year the blade broke just like with the pair before which i tossed not realizing fiskars has a lifetime warranty on their products

Only downsides are the rubber grips have gotten dirty and sticky which is probably my fault and the locking mechanism is starting to fail

Itll stay locked sometimes but sometimes theyll pop open
