Pros
They are very versatile and maintain their sharpness. They are changeable to horizontal or vertical. Super sharp and ergonomic.
Just like scissors. Spray some camellia oil for the blades as is used on hand plane irons, also spray some into where the blade pivots.

The design is such that you can't just pop it back into place. The grass just folds over between them. Lastly, the handle is to short for anyone tall. I'm 6'1' and my hands were really sore the first few times i used it.

I would not recommend this trimmer to anyone with arthritic hands or elbows
