Pros

You just have to be mindful that there is a ribbon (that has its own channel, so it doesn't flap about) that goes from the pull handle to the cutting head. It's very sharp. There's a slide handle a few feet from the bottom that works the cutter.

Adjustment is super easy and takes seconds. They use a simple throw lever to loosen and tighten the adjustment. I like that this uses a strap and it goes up to 12' i think.

The pole extends pretty easily and stays in place without any slippage. I also have the fiskars pole trimmer that uses a rope pull. It's hard to find but well worth getting in addition to this for when you don't need the long reach of the extendable p... Read More

I have relatively small trees with branched less than a 1/2 diameter that require pruning. Because it cuts by sliding the grip down the pole, it is awkward to use and requires constant telescoping.

This product needs a major redesign. It’s unusable as you can see with the pictures. Now it interferes with multiple other things instead.

Packaging/appearance

Yet the packaging on the end of the pole is ridiculous to open

Other than the packaging i was very pleased with the pruner

Second as mentioned in another review it is difficult to remove the packaging from the head
