The same thing happened to me with another set of fiskars shears a couple of years ago, but i didn't think it was this model and hoped that it was a fluke. Fiskar needs to improve their hedge shear design to resolve this jamming issue.

They came to me in brand new condition with a blade cover and i am very happy with the way they cut
Light weight coupled with the gear system makes this tool worth every penny
It is the fiskars quality i expect
From my perspective the riveted fulcrums are replaced with a quality selflocking nut to bolt connection

Love them i prune a lot and these definitely are time savers great product and great price
