Cons
Save yourself the hassle, buy a different set of shears. I'm mystified that fiskar's, usually reliable, makes a product so useless.
They are exceptionally dull, the blade chipped, the mechanism is jerky. I tried again this week to see if i still thot they were awful and they are! Unfortunately, they are not actually from finland. These hedge clippers are horrible.

These are sturdy sharp easy to use and have comfortable grips
In fact they may one day be passed on to my grown children as the sturdiest most durable and most precise garden shears ever made
They are not made and do not cut thick branches
A simple ladder and these shears quickly take bothersome ‘ shoots’ without grabbing your trimmer

The shears are an excellent value at 31
With these excellent shears i can manage my own yard professionally at a small fraction of the cost
Bought a cheap is pruning shares first

You do have to sand the gum off the blades and sharpen the blades after extensive use

These make for quick trimming when your electric hedge trimmer cant cut it

Im not using them on a hedge rather long bladed leaves on some flowers my daughter planted

The clipper handle them well except if there is something else growing up within the leaves that is sort of twiggy then the blades get hungup
