These are cheap imports that fiskars was willing to slap their name on in order to get my money. Just incredibly unpleasant to use. I fail to understand why they would take a wonderful product and improve it.

They are very sharp and cut through 2 layers of flannel plus a layer of cotton batting
They are great for cutting batting off quilts while they lay flat
