Pros & Cons
Pros
Light, easy to use for pruning my trees but sturdy. Cleaning up the garden is more fun and so much easier.
Durability is good, too. And they're affordable. Borrowed these from a neighbor and had to buy them for myself.
These are very light and easy to maneuver. The little gear reduction thing at the jaws really helps reduce the strength needed to cut. The blades are very sharp and the handles give good cutting leverage. You should have no problem cutting everything ... Read More
Cons
This tool is for light duty work only, fine to cut max one inch green wood (hard, mesquite) and struggling. The cutting blade was chewed up and rendered useless after half a day of pruning shrubs with 1/4 or less stems. Only one side of the cutter is ... Read More
Don't even try using it on a shrub. Not usable. Very poor blade.
When you are in the thick of bushes or on a ladder, lopping off bunches of tough branches is easy to twist the handles in the wrong direction.
Highlights
Quality
Good quality works really well easy to use
I like the distance of the tool and the grip and color nicely made
I have 2 sets of what i’ll call lightweight loppers and was blow away with the quality of this tool
These cutters cut limbs with minimal effort and make cutting so easy that it almost doesn’t feel like a chore anymore
Price
Works great exactly what i wanted out of this tool and for a reasonable price
I wish i would have paid a little more and bought the ratchet one
But it was inexpensive and seems to fill a gap between my hand cutters and larger lopping shears
Price was also excellent at the time couldnt say no to that

I was doing my lopping with a pair of fiskars hand pruners or if they would not do it a saw or an old heavy dull wooden handled lopper handed down from dad
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
These are very light weight and the handle reach is shorter than my old dads but his weighs 10 times as much as these
