This holder looks nice conveniently cutts tippet securely holds spools opens easily and closes with certainty however the clip has a lip on both sides of the bottom section where the metal holder rides that cause the holder to stick in a 90degree position several times each day

The two lips form a c for the spool holder to ride in rather than a u and i believe the intent is to help the holder stay in place at the bottom of the clip

It still pops out and even allows the entire clip to reverse itself
