Pros
The only downside for us is the toy is spot clean only. Our grandson loves this little dog. Now our granddaughter does the same but she also loves to press the foot that changes the levels.
Cons
The batteries are rusted to the toy. Sent back for refund. The battery life of the toy is questionable.

The first one lasted about 2 years before the voice box just failed it became warpeddistorted

Prior to that we had to do surgery on puppy a few times to reattach the wiring in the limbs which seem to come apart pretty easily rendering the limb buttons silent
