I will say it took me about 2025 minutes to get 6 quarts out of motor maybe i didnt pump enough to create a stronger vacuum but i figure the less vacuum pressure the longer the tool will last anyway

Plus the canister base and tubes are sturdy so i walked away prepping the oil filter unwrapped the new oil jugs etc

Note that mityvac does have a lower cost tool compatible to this one but from reviews ive read the seal around the pump handle fails quickly and ceases to work anymore

Be sure to let the tubes adequately drain before putting them back in the holder or youll end up with a teaspoon of old lubricant down there which will eventually spill out when youre emptying the extractor or at the very least allow you to flick oil all over yourself when removing the tubes on the next oil change

The smallest hose tubing easily fit in the oil level guage pipe and with a few extra pushes reached to the lowest part of the oil pan
