Cons

Adjustment knob is too small and moves blade around as it is tightened down. It has a big round knob on the side that contacts the blade, so big that the threads barely grab the adjustment plate. Cheaply built with no useful purpose.

Price

This hand planer was the perfect choice easy and effective use results are impeccable and the price was right

Packaging/appearance

I chose to plane the edge of the door trim took me 15 minutes to set up the blade which was quite acceptably sharp out of the package

It served its purpose to remove the paint layer where it accumulated from last paint job

I’ll have to wait until i get home and get some pliers which i hope won’t ruin the “teeth” on the tightening screen

Competitiveness

Dont try to take too big of a bite and it works as well as the more expensive models
