This is exactly the same lg motor unit that you will find in your dyson when you open it up to replace it

You will find very good instructions on how to install the unit via google i would recommend you get familiar with what skillstools are required before committing to purchase

You cannot use the socket type screwdrivers because they are too large in diameter and may not be long enough either

Excellent product and cheaper than dyson original only one issue this motor has a slight difference to the original in that the motor shaft is about 5mm longer causin the roller brush to protrude out of the housing

Excellent service from first4spares the motor and gearbox was an exact fit i had to change the plastic dog that connects to the brush bar over because it did not fit my brush bar

Probably due to my machine being a mk1 and the replacement a later version
