Pros

We have these interconnected throughout the house. Works great have both smoke & carbon monoxide detector. Last 10 years.

The instructions for diy are very good, and the electrical wire harness is color coded for easy electrical connections. It is both hardwired and equipped with a 10 year backup battery. Replaced with removable battery model, no problems.

Cons

These alarms are made as cheaply as possible and need to be replaced on a regular basis. The pull tab to activate the alarm had been pulled staring the clock towards the expiration date of the life limited parts.

There is no reason for such por designed. The item had been removed from the manufactures package. Vacuuming them didn't make a difference.

Instructions are in an extremely small font, making them very difficult to read. Battery runs out very quickly.

Worth it since price is now 35 dollars

I’d recommend these i got them on sale

Purchased in 2016 for 18 dollars lasted about 8 years

10 year warrant but cost 6 dollars to ship replacement

10 years ago i purchased and installed very similar units made by the same manufacturer a bit bigger and no carbon monoxide sensor

These replaced a different name brand that were up for over 10 years
