Pros & Cons
Pros
Worked like a charm on a 24 year old system. Scared the heck out of my wife and i. After replacing them, it is peaceful!
The only negative thing i can saw so far is that the battery door is looked upon receipt. Goodby late night 9-volt battery replacement worries. Connected about 7 of these some with 10 year battery life in a tall vault other reachable with stool.
Cons
Measured voltage is 9 volts or less. Detector is falsely advertised as having a 10 year lithium battery, which it doesn't (includes a 9v alkaline).
The carton had been re-taped with cellophane tape but there was a open gap along the center. I was refunded ~$16 for both. Hitting reset did not help at all.
